experts works

Technical experts are integral to the CLEAN Helpdesk delivery, providing specialised knowledge to assist government officials with climate, environment, and nature requests.

Become a technical expert

We are always looking for qualified experts to join our network and provide valuable support to government officials.

Steps to become a technical expert:

  1. Application: Submit your application via the expression of interest form on our portal to provide detailed information about your expertise, experience and qualifications
  2. Shortlisting: We evaluate and shortlist applicants based on their expertise, experience, qualifications, and relevance to the CLEAN Helpdesk's remit.
  3. Selection: Based Experts are selected based on their experience, skills and availability to meet the specific requirements of the scope of work to ensure quality project delivery.

Provide expertise

Engage on requests

  • Receive Requests: Get matched with requests based on your specialisation. Discuss the scope and specifics in an initial meeting.
  • Develop ToR: Help create a Terms of Reference (ToR) and address any conflicts of interest.

Deliver expert guidance

  • Consultation: Provide tailored advice on climate, environment and nature issues, including climate risks assessments and Gender, Equity, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) integration.
  • Focused Support: Deliver high-quality work as outlined in the terms of reference.

Quality assurance and feedback

  • Review Process: The provided expertise will be reviewed against the terms of reference, by technical experts, and the requesters to ensure quality assurance and that the outputs meet the ask.
  • Final Delivery: Once approved, the technical assistance outputs will go through a proofreading, copy editing, and design process to finalise the outputs to share as potential knowledge resources. Provide feedback to improve future engagements.
